We remember and thank the veterans of all our countries. Remembrance Day (Armistice Day) is also on November 11th in the UK and is when the two minute silence is observed. Remembrance Sunday is on the second Sunday of November each year.
My father served, my daughter does serve, my husband wanted to join the Navy but his eyes were too bad and it upsets him to this day that he could not serve. My heart is grateful to all who did and do.
