A QUIET DAY

This will be a simple, quiet and reflective day.
I told my story to June yesterday.  I had a need to tell someone.
The truth was it didn't matter a great deal to her,
but she is often a good listener if she doesn't fall asleep too quickly.
Unlike June, rest does not come so easily for me when stress, worry and sadness move in.

So we've agreed to take a few days off, which we'd sort of planned to do soon anyway.

June needs to work on her manners ~ I need to tidy-up the 2020 photo files, a tiresome task ~
and do some new photography of June,
she's grown a great deal since her arrival here three-and-a-half months ago
and we can't keep posting "kitten" photos forever!

We're always around by email, and we'll be back soon.
Prayers that we all get to January 20 safely.
JUNE and Ann ...

  19. June is adorable.....we share a name as my middle name is June. Quiet and reflective days are what all of us need after what we've seen and heard these last days. Starting a new year is helpful - starting a new "everything" is daunting but we do what we need to do to keep ourselves and our lives centered! Enjoy your rest. Hugs to you both............

  26. We share the sentiment all around. Quiet time is always good. 2020 was a horrendous year, and so far- in spite of what many were thinking/hoping, 2021 isn't exactly off to the best start. Take some time.
