Something you might like to know about me: I have a roommate (other than Mom), a kitty friend actually. She's an orange kitty! I haven't given her a name yet. If you can think of a nice name, I'm open to suggestions, thank you.
When I first get up it's still dark outside, but I go over and meow "good morning" to her, she sleeps by the right-side window.
Then after breakfast, I will sometimes sit beside her so we can watch the sunrise together, I think she likes that very much.
A few reasons she's a good roommate and kitty friend.
(1) she does not EAT any of my food or treats, she lets me have it all!
(2) she does NOT mess around in my litter box, I like my privacy and am glad I don't have to share it! And it means less for Mom to clean up!
(3) she's very quiet, I get to do all the talking.
(4) she's good company when Mom goes out, well, she's sort-of good company I mean.
(5) she stays out of my rounder, after all it is MY rounder, it's by the left-side
window and her place is the right-side window.
(6) orange kitty is a rescue kitty just like me. Mom told me she was adopted
from a thrift store where she was sitting all alone and lonely. Mom also told me she has fun
finding little treasures in thrift stores. I wonder if that's where she found me?
(7) she's been good about leaving all my toys alone, and I'm glad as I'm just now learning to share, actually I don't play with them much anyway. So the other day I chose a few toys (yes, I admit they were "extra and old ones") and gave them to her for playtime.
I don't know why, but orange kitty seems not to be interested
in playing with her new toys.
I'll have a talk with her about it tomorrow morning.
Your friend is very nice, and even better that she doesn't mess with your things or steal your food.
ReplyDeletewe have a friend too... it is a wooden weimaraner... da phenny watered him 87 times... and he is not angry!...but the mama is...
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful kitty life as an only pet who gets all the attention you need. Your kitty friend is quite nice we think too.
ReplyDeleteJuney, a friend is a treasure indeed!
ReplyDeleteCall her Mabel or Maisie?
I like Dolly or even Molly, or maybe Sally
ReplyDeleteThose are the best kinds of kitties, June. They don't get into your stuff, sleep where you want to sleep or eat your food. Purrfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. My best to your mom. ♥
It's nice that you have a friend in your house to keep you company when your mom is out. She's very cute...but not as cute as you are, June.
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny kitty!
ReplyDeleteYour kitty pal is almost as cute as you are sweet June!
ReplyDeleteYour Mom's new treasure kitty is pretty, but not as pretty as you! I wish the other cats I live with were more like her! I would call her HAPPY DAY! And we hope you have a marvellously Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteShe's the best kind of friend, Juney. She looks like a Marmalade to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling friend you have Juney. You and your Mom asked about the count of Catscue cats, it changes, and does the count you want include the Ferals? Let's just say we have more than 15 and Meowing!
ReplyDeleteShe sounds like the ideal roommate. And she is adorable like you. XO
ReplyDeleteOne intruder ;)
ReplyDeleteJune I am quite envious of both your roomies...they are purrfect
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
That's the kind of kitty pal every kitty needs:) How about Marmalade, and nickname her Marmie?
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That is one PAWSOME roomie Juney!! It's always good when your roomie doesn't eats your foodables!!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
Junie, you and Orange Kitty have a lovely friendship !
ReplyDeleteOrange Kitty is very cute! What a great thrift store find. I love finding the perfect thing I didn't know I needed. A nice quiet friend that you can count on being there is always a treasure.
ReplyDeleteNow if that other kitty could pay some rent she would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteShe sounds like the best kind of friend! Thrift store finds are always fun, especially if they're cat-related!
ReplyDeleteThis kitty seems like the ideal roomate. Wanna trade? I didn't think so. Tyebe does all the stuff you dislike and way more.
ReplyDeleteHow does Punkin' sound as a name for your friend?
Shoko
She's a beautiful friend, how about calling her Tomasina. She's probably a great listener and deep thinker, too.
ReplyDeleteAww, that orange kitty looks and sounds like a very nice roommate, indeed, Juney. Maybe you can name her Ginger!
ReplyDeleteThose are the best kind of friends. She seems low key.
ReplyDeleteSure sounds like the best kind of friend one could want. Perhaps you should name her Perfect (or as others mentioned above Purrfect), since that's the type of friend she seems to be? As for the toy thing, my mom and dad get me toys now and then. I play with them here and there at first, then ignore them. Maybe it's an age thing? Sometimes they roll one of my balls back and forth, trying to get me to join in. I think I have more fun watching them than I would partaking. Oh, and by the way- mom would love to come cook post chomper removal!
ReplyDeleteWe really like your friend June. I had a kitty years ago who I could lay with and was so nice. He is around here somewhere I have to look him up
ReplyDeleteYour new kitty friend looks like a great friend ! We're glad your mom rescued her ! Purrs
