I am such a good girl. Mom has this big basket and it's filled with extra blankies and throws. At night time it gets filled up with the pretty pillows from the day bed. But she is not happy when she sees me scratching on it. So I simply stopped scratching it! Cause I'm a one-year old now, and when you're a grown up girl you're expected to behave better. That's being good, isn't it! Awww, so good!
You are a very good girl, sad to say we are not very good girls and we are a lot older so Mom says we need to come take lessons from you.

ReplyDeleteBefore we read the post, we thought, uh oh, that basket looks like a scratcher for kitties. What a good girl to not scratch on it. Our kitties have always been good about scratching because Mom has scratching posts for them all around the house.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing mom has scratching posts for you too. My kitties would use them, but they would also use other things too. I know how mom feels. You're sure a pretty one year old.

Gosh, you ARE good, June! Even with a zillion cat trees and scratchers around, Derry sometimes will scratch at something he shouldn't (though more often when he was younger).
