HAPPY TUESDAY

You might remember seeing me awhile back when I got into one of these plastic storage boxes ~ being like most cats if there is a box around ~ into it I get!  Well, eventually I was yanked (I mean politely asked) to get out of that box.  Into it went a lot of winter things, folded up, put away as the hot days were coming.

So, these storage boxes, once filled, up high into the closet they went.  And though I could no longer get into them, we cats also love high places and I discovered a wonderful new place to sit and watch the world go by, from up high.  Well, the world that consists of my Mom, when she's in this closet that is ... and I have a new happy place!

As for hot days ... let me pause a moment here: along with my hu-mom to say ... we are both thinking a lot, and praying too for so many of our friends and their pets throughout the American West and into Canada as they do their best to deal with the terrible heat wave and fire hazards that threaten. We hope for their safety and well being.

    1. Where in the Mitten State are you? We lived 5/6 years in Stevensville/St Joseph ... did have a few "monsoon" like storms come in off the lake which was close enough to walk to ... seems every place is having one kind or another of extreme weather now.

  8. I think your new perch maybe an even better perch then the staircase at Brian's house. I have to say that being in the closet and way up high makes your face look absolutely perfect. We two are praying for all the people and the horrible heat and in the path of the fires

  13. We have a lot of those types of plastic storage boxes. But my ghostwriter uses them to store her big collection of dolls by Integrity. (https://www.integritytoys.com/) I used to think these were squeaky toys for me to play with, but soon learned otherwise. Now I leave them alone. But not to worry. I have my own squeaky toy storage facility and plenty of my own squeaky toys. We hope you and your mom are keeping cool in these sweltering days!
