Sure, it's OK, yeah, I sorta like it, Mom. But I mean ~ leaves? Outside? Sitting on a tree stump, for real? It'll never happen, I'm an indoor kitty. So here's the thing: you got me started on my very own Photoshop training awhile back, even got me my own mousie, right? And anyone who stops in to visit here knows we like to change our header each month ~ and they probably also know this is most certainly my blog ~ and that I like polka dots! Polka dots rule! So, I think it's high time we just put it to a vote. I mean look, I pulled up on the monitor all the dotty-headers I have designed (it is "art day" and so I'm showing off my art!) ... but I have yet to see one of these posted as my header! Not a one! What do you have to say? Quiet as a mouse, mmm. You know what friends, there's a whole file called "unused headers", and they're all my art! How insulting is that! I should just start another blog, Zoolatry With June ... or June's Zoolatry ... or Juneatry (no, that sounds like a one star restaurant) ... oh well, time to go join Athena and Marie, for Caturday Art. Caturday Art even sounds like it's meant to be done by "cats"! Maybe one day I'll get the recognition I deserve as an artist in my own right ... ya think? Until then I'm taking mousie and going somewhere to sulk.
CATURDAY ART BLOG HOP
I love the new header and it looks so much like our backyard it. It's beautiful I stopped changing mine because I don't like all the Hoops I have to step through to make it the right size when it goes to a postage stamp so I just don't mess with it. I wanted to change Matt snapper but I love what's on those so I don't change it. I have a folder I've probably 200 headers that I've made over the last nine years
ReplyDeleteWell, Junie...cats aren't that much into the same reality as humans, so maybe you'll just have to accept that your mom is in charge of the blog.
ReplyDeleteMom says you are an inspiration as we need to change our header to something fallish. Now we are sure the header with polka dots you designed is way superior (after all cats are the superior species followed by dogs, oh hush Fenris everyone knows you are a superior dog and are in charge) but we very much like the fall leaves. But tell your Mom she has to rake up a big pile of leaves and bring them in the house for you to play with they make a lovely crunchy sound when you run through them.

ReplyDeleteJune, you KNOW that we LOVE every header that comes from the ZH, your Mom, especially the MANY she has created for us, so we can't say anything against this fall header. It is really quite nice, and we love the little touch of the leaf on your cute little nose. Maybe you can look hard among all those leaves and find some acorns, maybe a little close to polka dots:)

I wanted to do this terrific shot of Jo Jo on the tie dye bed spread and NOOOOO Queen Nellie wanted to do a water color of Kozmo! Guess what got put up! BUT I did get to make the header for September! Purrhaps You and I should start our own Cat Art Gallery....Marv
