This little cupboard serves as a side table by my polka dot chair
and my favorite scratcher is in front of it.
I never knew these doors opened until one day when my butt accidentally
butted the door and it came open, surprising and a little bit scaring me!
But I bravely went inside. Nothing was in there except me and the dark.
So I came right out. I scratched my claws real good.
And then I ran away.
I don't know if I want to go back in there.
My hu-mom says she'll put a little soft blankie in there
and some special toys.
Then maybe I won't be a scaredy cat.
We'll see. A lot of things scare me at first.
So I have to think long and hard about this cubby.
[PS did I ever tell you that my crazy hu-mom often sits on the floor for hours just so she can get silly photos of me doing stuff like this!]
I THINK SHE WAS HAPPY SHE GOT THESE PHOTOS
FOR
HAPPY TUESDAY at COMEDY PLUS
it reminds us of a big stage you could make your own meow-sicals that way... it's purrfect ;O)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little hideout for you, Juney, and a nice soft blankie sounds like a great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt can be your own little private den, but I'm not sure if cats like those like we doggies do.
ReplyDeleteIt can be your hideaway. A place you can go that no one can find you. I like that. Your mom sitting on the floor for a long time to get blog fodder doesn't surprise me one bit.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
That looks like a great place for a quiet nap, especially if your mom puts a soft blankie in there for you.
ReplyDeletePurrfectly cat sized!
ReplyDeleteI like EZ's idea so let's see some of that! And this is perfect for happy Tuesday and all I can think of is what if somebody shuts the door in your locked inside because I don't like to be shut-in.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that if I sat on the floor to take photos of Bo you would not ever get to see them because I would not be able to get up off of the floor and go to the computer to post them
ReplyDeleteJune what a cute will hidey hole. I bet it popping out automatically was scary like there was a ghost.
ReplyDeleteYou are very very fortunate to have a fun human...
Hugs cecilia

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun, quiet and cozy place to hang out!
ReplyDeleteYou are still making all kinds of new discoveries at your den, June!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a GREAT cubby, Juney. We hope you decide to check it out again!
ReplyDeleteYou found a great spot.
ReplyDeleteJune I think you will find that cubby to be a nice place to relax in days to come. We cats are smart and always wary of new things
ReplyDeleteGetting photos of you isn't silly, and new things do warrant a careful investigation and thinking about so you know they are safe.
ReplyDeleteLAZ here: I'm learned there are great spots ta be in iffen ya can learn to open cabinet doors. Some are good fer napping privately and some are good fer just bein by yerself. I haven't found the one with the good foods in it though.
