Mine Mommy had a "Caturday Art" post all set to go ... but the minute I saw her yesterday morning, I knew I had to take over and do one for you. I mean I could do one so... so much better. Like she was in a frenzy, a tizzy, frazzled and it was wild and crazy. I hardly recognized her! I knew she'd been on "holiday overload" doing all kinds of red-and-green and Santa-like-stuff for other kitties and woofies and for the Cat Blogosphere, but gosh-by-golly, we hadn't even had our own Thanksgiving turkey yet and here she was, pulling out our big box of decorations and ready to hang this and hang that and move this and move that and suddenly my happy little home was going to be all kinds of different. It was time for me to hide in the closet fur sure! I mean look at this picture! Honestly, furriends, this is really really exactly what she looked like! All day long! NO Pinocchio!
June your mommy does too much too fast. Us kitties take it nice and slow, which is purrfect. No tree trimming here until the Thanksgiving dinner is gone and left overs are gone. You did great job art working your mommy. Precious
ReplyDeleteMOL we like your art but we don't think your Mommy really looks like that!!!
ReplyDeleteJUNE you swooped in to save the day and to keep mom for pulling out her frazzled hair.
ReplyDeleteWell done sweetie
Hugs Cecilia
oh wow! tell your mom I am MAKING myself wait until TG day or the day after to put out the STUFF. the little tree has been sitting in the nook calling my name since a week ago. wow on the polka dot ornament. the drawing is great and waiting to see The Results!
ReplyDeleteJune, I think your art was just perfect and I now can imagine the real thing in my head! 😁
ReplyDeleteGood job of watching out for your meowmy, June!
ReplyDeleteYour poor frazzled mommy, June. At least she remembered to put her stripey socks on.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your mom can take a break from all her work soon, June. Our parents like to decorate for the holidays too.
ReplyDeleteYour art shows it perfectly, Juney. Your momma does look pretty frazzled! Make sure to give her lots of love and purrs and snuggles, okay? We bet that will help. XO
ReplyDeleteJune, for such a youngster you sure did a bang-up job on your first portrait. I think it looks exactly like your Mom, and you certainly nailed the frazzled effect. Well done!
ReplyDeleteIn our house it is never to early for Christmas stuff but then we don't have Thanksgiving xoxo Little Miss Titch
ReplyDeleteOur Mom is armed with her sticks and strings knitting as fast as her fingers can go. She needs to slow down and relax like us doggies. You keep on top of the situation at your house. We don't want our peeps to burn out.

ReplyDeleteOh dear! That dreaded time of year when humans get all silly about Christmas!!!
Just be sure to keep moving June, so you do not find yourself decorated!!!
Purrs, Julie
Ya done good sweet June and the polka dot ornament is purrfect for you!
ReplyDeleteMuch cuter than Pinocchio. :) XO
ReplyDeleteGood work June! Your Mom does look frazzled but OTOH she probably got alot done, so now she can kick back and enjoy the holidays!
ReplyDeleteWith all the things your Mom is busy with that's a great photo! These holidays create so much werk and your Mom is very busy. Our Mom did the unthinkable and got a fake tree and put it up TODAY! It's so fake we didn't even know it was a tree. We have been ignoring it.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! We did lots of decorating this week too!
ReplyDeleteHAH! That looks like TW every day only TW is a lot greener than that especially when she's nauseous. We still don't have our elevatór back so it's still up four flights of stairs. She did our cards early but I'll bet they don't get written until Christmas Eve. Same with our tree. They talk about starting to assemble it. This is the first year they bought a fake tree.
ReplyDeleteYou did furry well, June!
ReplyDeleteMy mum gets like that too. I love your art!
ReplyDeleteJune, we need a little Christmas now. It's just how it is.
