We love visiting Millie and Walter at BIRD BRAINS & DOG TALES. It is a truly beautiful blog, as their Mom is an accomplished photographer and there is no question that these are two very handsome "first friends". Nature overflows with her pictures of gardens, flowers and around the yard ~ the birds, the neighborhood wildlife and more. If you happen to like to crochet, sometimes you'll even get a look at her amazing hand work, and don't forget to visit her at her own Etsy shop, (there's a link on the sidebar). It is a continuing disappointment to us that Wordpress doesn't allow us to comment on WP blogs, but we stop by regularly anyway just to take in all the beauty, and to see what Millie and Walter are up to!
Another "first friend" is the doggie reporter, the one and only Chester L.W. Spaniel at THE DAILY BONE. Now whether he is barking 'bout the weather, "oh look at the sky today!", a flock of birds on their fly-by, maybe even a noisy helicopter doing a passover, Chester will bring you breaking news. And you'll always be up to date on the Evil Squirrel Cartel, will they be captured, imprisoned? Are all the birdies safe? He is the protector of the yard and gardens, guarding the perimeter in all seasons. When you spend a few minutes with Chester you're sure to leave with a smile on your face.
Hope to see you tomorrow, and each day this week
as we post more visits with "first friends"
and a very special Veterans Day post on Friday. Thank you.

Chester and his furmily have come to be almost like knowing them since we share some common interests, both doggy and human.
We enjoy seeing all the lovely things that Millie and Walter post about, too. I do believe it was they who taught us how to make a special woodpecker feeder.
We love both Millie and Walter, and Chester. Well done and thank you for highlighting their wonderful blogs!ReplyDelete
How i wish i didn't have to work so i could follow more blog friends!ReplyDelete
While my blog is on Blogger, i did get a Wordpress blog just so i could comment at Wordpress. My blog there has only one post, a link to my main blog!
