MY WEDNESDAY WORD

Mine Mommy gave me a very important word to learn and use this week, and also to practice.

Let me explain.
I am on a table here that is between two chairs.
I like to jump from chair-to-table-to-chair.
Once when I did that I knocked over a very pretty lamp that sat upon the table.
I was fine.  The lamp was not.
It crashed to the floor and broke into many pieces.
This is the pretty new lamp that now sits upon the table.
My word this week is caution.

CAUTION

I should use caution when jumping from chair-to-table-to-chair.

  1. I understand so much, Juney. I knocked one of mom's lamps on the floor too because my feets got caught in the cord while I was searching for my beloved tennis ball. Fortunately, the lamp had a soft landing on the carpet and no harm was done.

  6. We have sure knocked over some stuff in our time. We usually blame TBT fer not bolting down his stuff. We mean, he should know by now that we run around all crazy sometimes.

So it is never really YOUR fault...

  10. We all need caution, even if we don't jump. Breakables are all around us.

  12. That is a very good word to practice, Juney! Maybe Mom can use some velcro on the bottom of that lamp, just in case!

  14. That new lamp looks like it has a substantial base to it so it should be less likely to take a topple, June.
