Mine Mommy gave me a very important word to learn and use this week, and also to practice.
Let me explain.
I am on a table here that is between two chairs.
I like to jump from chair-to-table-to-chair.
Once when I did that I knocked over a very pretty lamp that sat upon the table.
I was fine. The lamp was not.
It crashed to the floor and broke into many pieces.
This is the pretty new lamp that now sits upon the table.
My word this week is caution.
CAUTION
I should use caution when jumping from chair-to-table-to-chair.
I understand so much, Juney. I knocked one of mom's lamps on the floor too because my feets got caught in the cord while I was searching for my beloved tennis ball. Fortunately, the lamp had a soft landing on the carpet and no harm was done.
ReplyDeleteyes... that is impawtant ...
ReplyDeleteyes, June, be very cautious! that lamp is beautiful and it mimics your colors, the two of you look beautiful together.
ReplyDeleteJune, you are a doll!
ReplyDeleteCaution is an important word and one that us cats frequently ignore. ;)
ReplyDeleteJune you are all kinds of lucky you are so aDORable..and were forgiven. BUT yes do practice caution now
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Yes, definitely use caution. :) XO
ReplyDeleteWe have sure knocked over some stuff in our time. We usually blame TBT fer not bolting down his stuff. We mean, he should know by now that we run around all crazy sometimes.
ReplyDeleteSo it is never really YOUR fault...
i think the lamp jumped
ReplyDeleteHope springs eternal that caution wins out. ;)
ReplyDeleteMark is right. It is never really OUR faults!
ReplyDeleteYes, you should be very cautious sweet June, you don't want to hurt yourself!
ReplyDeleteYes, a very important word!
ReplyDeleteWe all need caution, even if we don't jump. Breakables are all around us.
ReplyDeleteYou got away with the first time because you are simply so adorable...and loved! Better not push your luck, though. XOX Lucy
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good word to practice, Juney! Maybe Mom can use some velcro on the bottom of that lamp, just in case!
ReplyDeleteJune, caution is important, but accidents will happen.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the lamp, but glad you are OK.
Purrs, Julie
That new lamp looks like it has a substantial base to it so it should be less likely to take a topple, June.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe use the floor instead:)
