June has a three-level cat tree. June has a one-level cat tree. Of course, you've seen her in her blankie-basket. And in her polka dot chair. There's also another very nice chair, and sometimes she'll choose the bed for naps, or at night. The little rounder is softly padded, good for curling up inside. Why, there's even a padded bench in the big closet (and yes, I have seen her on that!). Both dining table chairs have padded cushions. Last, not least, the plain old carpet could be chosen anytime.
About that one-level cat tree. It's by the window. On each side, a scratcher box. So, why oh why? Go figure. You tell me. Please. Why is the one on the left chosen for an afternoon nap? Why is the one to the right also chosen for napping? Go figure. Well, maybe it makes her happy.
why oh´why? thats the christmas miracle ...
ReplyDeleteit is great to know June does not lack for places to lay about or nap or snuggle. who knows the answer to why oh why she chooses which to use at what time.
ReplyDeleteI won't ask if you are comfortable, June. Of course you are!
ReplyDeleteMy dad says he learned many moons and cats ago never to ask "why" anything with us.
ReplyDeleteOne thing for sure, you get the pleasure of watching her have a deep sleep.
ReplyDeleteCats love boxes and scratchers are like boxes with minuscule sides, maybe that is the reason. Paper and cardboard seem to be really loved by cats. At least you know she has options and she makes her own choices.
ReplyDeleteWe cats like choices...just like humans!
ReplyDeleteWe also like to keep humans guessing ;)
MOL!
Purrs, Winnie
We'll never understand the preferences of our often-finicky felines! :-)
ReplyDeletebee cauz ‼️thatz why πΊπ‼️π
ReplyDeleteJune I will never ever be able to figure out the mind and reasoning of felines. Maybe it is warmer on the floor who knows. No matter you are adorable
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
The ways of felines are unknown and mysteries to humans.
ReplyDeleteYou are a silly kitty, June. We would think the cushier places would be better for napping, but if it makes you happy then enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Everything we cats do, we do for a good reason."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Even if we don't know what it is ..."
Ahahaha, convenience maybe? Snooze, scratch, snooze again, repeat(?!)
ReplyDeleteCats...confusing humans since the beginning of time BOL!
ReplyDeleteGood job Junie!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
lmao! I agree with Eastside Cats, also...maybe she was scratching and got tired? MOL!!
ReplyDeleteCats! Well, she sure looks darling on that scratcher!
ReplyDeleteSimon, Seal and Kiki love to snooze on scratcher things. M & M love the trees, at least so far. You look darn cute there sweet June!
ReplyDeleteWe know you have purrfect reasons for your choices, Juney! XO
ReplyDeleteAwww..so adorable.
ReplyDeleteCat logic! MOL
ReplyDeleteCats love squares and rectangles. Scientists have experimented, and there's something about squares and rectangles cats are attracted to, no one knows why.
