Beau loves apples, and always gets a piece of mine.. also the squirrels and birds love the apple cores and peelings. I peel a bag of apples and cook them for Bob to have as a snack. he can't chew a raw apple anymore. last night I closed the blinds at bedtime and there sat a small baby squirrel eating apple peeling
Watch out for that core, and all those seeds, June. Yes, I think it's much better as a toy for you. Or you could give it to Mom to eat. It's very healthy for her. You could always use your nails to poke holes in it, but then they will turn brown. Turns Mom's smile upside down.
Mom enjoys a good crisp apple. Misty would love to have a taste, but it is taboo on her list of acceptable foods. Timber won't even sniff at one. But Dylan the canary LOVES a slice of apple and he gets one just about every day.
I'm thinking that homemade apple pie with a bit of real whipped cream might be even tastier, June. Especially the whipped cream part. 🙃
ReplyDeleteJune - so sweet - Do you really eat apple?
ReplyDeleteApples are so good for you, Juney, and mom gave me a tiny piece of one yesterday!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if cats eat apples, but I bet you would play with it since it is like a ball.

June, our Celestial Chuck used to lick my apple core; the sound of that raspy tongue is something that will always stay with me.
