It's Friday, June! The end of the work week!
Time to kick back and relax ...
So, are you trying to be funny?
The end of the work week?
Not working! Not you, by the way.
You've been retired longer than, well, longer than just
about any trite phrase I could add here ...
now open this laptop and post for me ...
Junie, yer Mom never retired. Her furever job is attending to yer ever whim and need!
ReplyDeleteJune, I dream of the days where the weekend means nothing to me too!
ReplyDeleteMy mom isn't fond of the weekends seeing as there are more peeps out and about so I guess we do get more rest on the weekends, Juney!
ReplyDeleteJune is such a task mistress.
ReplyDeleteI once commented to my daughter I was happy it was the weekend. She replied everyday is a weekend for you now that you are retired.
Hugs cecilia
Oh June, you look so convincing and even demanding...
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mariette + Kitties
June, you look so skeptical! But I will say this anyway, after spending so much of life working 9 to 5 (and overtime) I still have a feeling of relief when the weekend comes, and a touch of sadness when Monday arrives! That rhythm is ingrained. Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
ReplyDeleteBOL! You tell her Junie!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
June, your Mom has the best kind of retirement, a busy one! And you help her stay that way - MOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how humans get into those patterns that they can't break out of. Of course, our #1 is not retired and as she works from home, the weekend has not really be a weekend for many years!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
It sure looks like you won this one, June. Lovely shot of you hard at work.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
You are too funny. :) XO
ReplyDeleteYour mom's only job is to work for you isn't it, June? BOL!
ReplyDeleteWe can tell you were pretty darn serious there sweet June!
ReplyDeletePlus there's no weekend for bloggers!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with being assertive. Humans need it.
ReplyDeleteBeing retired is great work if you can get it.
