Last year I really wanted to ... and tried so very hard, to stay up on Christmas eve so I could see Santy Paws. But by the time I'd watched mine Mommy put a few things by the tree, hang a stocking for him to fill (for me, of course) and make a goodie plate for him, and all the reindeer, well I was so tired I just closed my eyes and went off to sugar plum fairy land! I am determined to stay awake this year! Meow, I am going to see that jolly big guy in the red suit, fur sure I am.
So we did a trial run a few days ago. A practice session.
Mine Mommy got some milk and cookies.
She's not a baker, so sorry, they're just Chips Ahoy!
And an apple for good health!
I found the obligatory carrots for Red Rose Nose* andhis her team,
I found the obligatory carrots for Red Rose Nose* and
plus a nice little broccoli tree!
We set it all on the table and I planned to stay up and wide awake all night long...
As they say, the best laid plans ~
* did ya know Rudolph retired last year, go girls!
We have been seeing a funny meme lately of someone advising Santa to replace his reindeer with Percheron horses!
ReplyDeletePsssstttt... you are supposed to be asleep to get all those treats and toys, so you're doing it right!
Purrs,
The Chans
I am sorry June, but I have heard Santy Paws sprinkles sleepy dust before he arrives to make sure you are asleep.
ReplyDeleteYou tried your best, Juney. At least you didn't eat Santa's snacks. I sure would have!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, really hope you get to catch Santa Paws in the act this year xxx
