Sometimes, actually a lot of the time, mine Mommy watches me.
(Evidence: all the photos she takes of me.)

Sometimes, I watch mine Mommy.
(No evidence: sans thumbs I can't work the camera phone.)
Just a few minutes ago, I was enjoying a nice little cat nap here in this chair.
Suddenly, I was rudely awakened by all this
clatter from our hallway and when I looked over that way all I could see was
her big butt sticking out of the hall closet and assorted things being tossed out
clatter from our hallway and when I looked over that way all I could see was
her big butt sticking out of the hall closet and assorted things being tossed out
and scattered on the floor behind her behind. What now? Again?
You see, here's the thing (secret, don't tell I told) whenever she gets bored,
she's starts cleaning, or tidying (things that are already clean or tidy) or
reorganizing things reorganized only a short time ago.
Me, I just have to put up with it.
And so, as I'm watching her and before I can swish a tail,
she's watching me, and out comes that camera ...
and you guessed it:
This is the picture of me watching her.
We are the watchers.
Look how comfy you were napping before the stuffs started flying out of the closet, Juney. I hope you can get back to your napping soon!
ReplyDeleteWe kitty cats don't need to clean the house do we. We just enjoy the comfort.
ReplyDeleteIt is not nice to have your nap rudely disturbed by a clatter.
ReplyDeleteWhat excellent watching work by both you and your Mom, June! She sure caught your intensely alert self on that picture!
ReplyDeleteGosh, June, when I get bored or antsy, I reach for a book, and a kitty to sleep in my lap.
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "I guess this answers the old question about who watches the Watchmen ..."
ReplyDeleteJune word to you from the mouths of my grand kitties...beware of boxes. My daughter and soninlaw and 3 grandkitties
ReplyDeletemoved into a new home on March 8th. There was lots of tossin' going on and lots of boxes. My daughter said she counted kitty noses before she taped boxes. The kitties adjusted very well to the move. Frady Cat Frisco the Ginger was the first one to venture downstairs, followed by Mia da tortie. Ironically Harper the social butterfly watched from the stairs while the older kitties explored. Now all are loving it
Hugs Cecilia
You look very relaxed in that chair, June. We hope your mom is successful with all her organizing efforts.
ReplyDeleteMamas sure are sneaky, aren't they Junie?
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Send some of that energy our Mom's way, please:). And that photo of you watching is precious!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
You look amused by your mom's antics!
ReplyDeleteI like to organize when stressed, but I never have an urge to actually clean. :) XO
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute sweet June but I'm sorry your nap was disturbed!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your mommy could make a business out of helping people get organized.
