NAP: a short sleep, especially during the day
CATNAP: a short sleep, especially during the day
NAP: I might take one nap during the day
CATNAP: June will take as many as twenty catnaps during the day
NAP: I doubt very much I look cute or sweet when napping
CATNAP: June absolutely looks very cute and very sweet when napping
CONCLUSION: even though Merriam-Webster, Oxford and most other
dictionaries define "nap" and "catnap" identically, there does appear to be
a distinct difference between June's manner of short sleep during the day
and my manner short sleep during the day
Having said all that excuse us both while we enjoy some short sleep
(tho before our naps, we're off to join two fun blog hops,
