I CAN HELP

June wants furriends to know that regardless of remarks (negative ones)
often posted here by her Mommy, her assistance with recent computer
issues has been very beneficial.  As anyone can see (photo above) she has
put her paws-of-love into this process of transferring files and data,
each and every day, and under oath, and penalty of purr-jury will state:

~~~
"I have worked long and hard, under duress, without payment of treats
or extra brushies, to accomplish this task in a timely manner.
To date all my hundreds of thousands of extraordinary and priceless
photographs have successfully been moved from the "old to the new"!
I do admit that I don't care one whisker about her documents which are
meaningless to me, nor do I give a tail's swish about what she calls
the impawtent financial data!
Apurrently these silly things are still in progress and
requiring what she says are some "manual tweaking"
on her part, in spite of the Cloud and the One Drive which don't do
tweaking-stuff.
So, I'm told that we I will be absent from here
temporarily while said tweaking is completed.
Thank you, your honor."
The Mom's Note: June no longer has her furs standing on end.
The Mommy is no longer pulling her hairs out.
The RAVENS beat the Browns yesterday.
And all is well.
Just got things to do, places to go, and people to see,
kinda sorta, as June would say!  Meow.
  2. We have everything backed up automatically to the cloud and we have second back up we update every month manually with all our most important stuff. Hopefully with two backups, nothing will ever be lost. We are happy things are looking up for you, your mom, and the computer.
  11. June, we are happy to learn that all your photos have been safely transferred! We do understand that the rest is not of concern for you June, but we're going to send hopes to your Mommy for fast and safe transfer of all non-June data too!
  13. Well done to the Ravens! I know nothing about American sport, but I support the Ravens thanks to Edgar Allan Poe. I hope the tweaking goes well. I have been pulling my hair out today too as last night I changed to a different version of Norton. I get more for the same price, but I have to be careful what I have on and what I turn off. Earlier the PC froze completely, but I think I found what I did wrong after a reboot.
  16. Many kudos for getting things transferred to the new computer. I'm in awe that you were able to handle it. I'm such a luddite when it comes to tech stuff and admire anyone who can do it without committing any crimes. And a Raven win always makes things just a bit sweeter, am I right? 😊
  19. Glad things are getting better. June is a really good helper! The way cats often help best is by being empathetic and putting out an affectionate paw like that when needed 💕
  20. Well, June, we're glad you got the most important stuff done and left the rest for your Mom. Dad keeps telling our Mom to keep everything in the cloud. But when we look up at the sky, we don't know how she could do that! We'll be looking forward to seeing you again before too long. XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
