Once upon a time, ten years ago to be purr-cise, my then 5-year old
grandboy with his crayons and color pencils drew me a picture of a little kitty cat.
It was his birthday gift to me (in mid November) and together we named him
"Rock Star" (if memory serves, I do think he actually chose the name).
The following month, looking for something different, for a holiday post
(maybe a Caturday Art for December?),
"Rock Star" made his way into Adobe Photoshop and got all dressed up for Christmas.
And here we are, a decade gone by. That little grandboy is
now a teenager, the crayons and color pencils no longer a thing for him.
For me, photoshop (now Creative Cloud) still is a thing ~
so let's make JUNE a "Rock Star"
for Christmas 2025.
After all, she is a rock star.
Your kitty cats are rock stars.
All kitty cats rock
and all are stars!

I love it! Even at 5, your grandson could draw better than I can at, well, my mature years. 😆 Do you still have his paper drawing? That would be a keeper, and framed!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do still have it ... among others ...
DeleteJuney, you definitely rock! And what a sweet memory from your Mommy's grandson!
ReplyDeleteThat was a very cute picture by Grandboy. It has progressed over the years and is perfect in it's blue polka dots and stripes.
