SUNDAY TOGETHER and OTHER STUFF

I'm sitting in a chair looking at you sitting in a chair.
And I'm sitting in a chair looking at you looking at me sitting in a chair.

And as I'm sitting here in this chair I'm thinking about you.
That's interesting because as I'm looking at you I'm also thinking about you.

What are you thinking about me, mine Mommy?
I'm thinking about how happy I am that you are here with me and I love you lots.

That's interesting because I was thinking the very same thing.

You know, when I got up this morning, it was still dark out.  After my breakfast I went to the window (open, of course) for a few minutes as I usually do, and oh my, this white stuff was falling!  Mine Mommy said it was "sleet", like rain and snow all mixed up together, but as we watched it turned to purrty snow!

I was thinking then about my RAVENS.  I'd wanted to see them play, but as usual I won't, I just pretend.  For awhile they were doing purrty good, but now they're not but we still cheer for them.  Today I'll wear my RAVENS snow-clothes when they play ...

By the way, mine Mommy gets kinda-sorta upset about this too. You see she says all the NFL really cares about is money, money, money and so they sell the TV rights to games to the highest bidder.  That seems to be CBS Paramount and we get NBC Peacock which only had 2 RAVENS games this season!  We think everyone everywhere should be allowed to see their home teams play, in all sports, all the time!  And even yesterday: MEOWZ, the big Army-Navy game was played right here in Baltimore, at our stadium ... and mine Mommy's grandboy is a midshipman at USNA, and she so, so wanted to see the game and root for NAVY, but no: CBS Paramount had the rights to it.  Not fair.  But NAVY won ... so there ... gotcha ... Meowz!

Anyway, I'm back at the window (still open!) and it's getting chilly, so time to head back to that chair way up top there, or maybe even get into my blankie basket and warm up for awhile ... happy Sunday all, Meowz.

  1. What a shame that you can't watch your Ravens play today, Juney. Money isn't always everything, in my opinion. I am watching my snow fall down from the North Pole☺

  2. It is very annoying the big sports people selling to the highest bidder and most people can't watch. We get the same with F1 and Sky has the rights to it so we can only watch highlights later on terrestrial TV.
I was looking at you too. Could you see me looking back at you?

  3. Your conversation with Mine Mommy touched my heart this morning. Nice to start the day with Mine Mommy conversations. Getting out of the way of the cold air at your window and into your blankie basket sounds like a very good idea, June. Brrrr.

  4. It's a shame you couldn't see your Ravens play, June. But since you and your Mommy are such great fans, We are sure the Ravens can FEEL your love and cheers, urging them on.

  5. You're going to laugh at this, June, but when you mentioned Ravens, #1 thought about big black birds, like the ones at the Tower of London!

There is no sign of any white stuff here. In fact, it's been so mild that #1 says she hardly needs a jaccket when she goes out.

    Purrs,
