On July 12, when mine Mommy decided and posted we're taking a blog break, she suggested a few days.
I opined more likely a week. Of course, wise kitty that I am, here we are,
yet about to paw into another week, meowz.
I've spent much time doing all the things I said I would do,
but a few days lost to window-watching due to some very odd sky that
appeared "out there", but y'all know about that, so no matter going on, on.
And my ears hurt somethin' awful those days. The TV and her phone
kept blasting these LOUD "announcements" ... warnings she said,
like don't go outside. I thought maybe aliens were coming, but no. So
I did avoid my own spaceship [you know, that catasaurus thing] for
fear they'd might want to take it!].
There were a few more pleasant diversions - not that I understood them.
Humans excited over kicking balls around, I do that all the time.
And of course, the bad stuff, the bad man in the city next door who
just never ever stops causing Trouble with a capital T, he that fake-gold T.
Meowz. Anyway, back on that July 12 post, she said,
"places to go, people to see, things to do, yes, things to do ..."
Well, a little of the first two. But a wholabunch of the "THINGS TO DO".
Her really big project is still going on. I suspect not a few more days,
maybe a week, she's taking me visiting sometimes when there's a little break.
I hope whatever this purr-ject is it's worth it.
Missing you ... meowz.

Humans do tend to get busy and sometimes it is hard to keep up with it all for them. We are happy anytime you manage to get out a post. Enjoy your window watching.
ReplyDeleteWell, we'll just miss you and your mommy, until you're able to come back!
ReplyDeletewe will wait for you and your mom...of course
ReplyDeleteWe miss you and your mommy, Juney, but big projects can be very important!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in, June. We miss you too! We hope the project advances smoothly.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Cute photo, we will all be here waiting for your return. Take care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait to hear about the projects!
ReplyDeleteJune I know a secret and it is a most worthy big project...and worth waiting for

June, that wildfire smoke is nasty; today (Monday) is our first day with open windows in many days, and we still aren't exactly in clear air (green) but in yellow.
ReplyDeleteThe EPA app on my phone gets a regular workout multiple times a day.
Smoke warnings continue here, too...right now we are at 105, which is lots better than the 391 we had a few days ago. UGH.
ReplyDeleteWe pups know too well about the busy, or not yet or not now stuff, too. But we are patient, as patient as pups could be! When we get bored with what petcretary is occupied with, we have a zoomie session or wrassle with eachother. Lately we don't care for the stinky outside either...
We are glad you are giving updates as to your 'status'...
Have a great week ahead!
It's good to hear you are doing well, June. We've had some of those crazy skies here too, but have had a couple good days in a row.
