WELCOME AUTUMN

At least we are hopeful we'll be welcoming it soon.

Though nights have been cooler, days remain hot and muggy

and in the city there is little sign of changing leaves.

Here at Zoolatry today, comments are off.

We'll only post randomly for a time,

June is a bit disappointed, having only just gotten her "bloggie" back,

but for reasons unknown to her, the "mine Mommy" is somewhat on overload

with many other things on her to-do list ... and so,

until we can also visit/comment and share with friend and furriends,

we'll also not post for awhile ...

And yet, it's not too too long until

Zoolatry becomes Boolatry!

And that, well, we won't miss that!

SUNDAY, SUNDAY WAITING WAITING

Waiting, waiting.

With whatever patience I can muster, which is not very much.

Believe me, I've been quiet, good, stayed in my favorite places ~

like my closets, my spaceship, my blankie basket,

and here ... under a chair!

For days, weeks and centuries now while she did other things here.

But my time has come,

do you not agree?

Meowz out loud, woof to the clouds if you do!

I wants a new tent.

I AM A HAPPY CAT!

Today I am a happy cat.

I have my bloggie back.

Today is Art on Caturday.

Today is Talk Like a Pirate Saturday.

So many things to do,

but first a thank you ~ to you!

MEOWZ

And my own thing is

CATURDAY ART

celebrated over with

Athena and Marie

Above, my original image, and below

just a little bit altered after my blankie wound up

up on my little head as you know the

nights are getting cooler now ....

Of course, then I 'membered that today is

TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY

so pulling that blankie off of my head

...

MEOWZ

I BE PIRATE JUNEY, THE BOLD AND THE BRAVE, AND

WITH PEARL MY PARROT ALWAYS AT MY SIDE,

MASTER OF THE SEAS AND ALL I SEE

YES, I AM A HAPPY CAT!

CONTEST WINNERS! "NAME THE NINE"

Before we put paws down and name our winners – thanks to all who took part in the
"NAME THE NINE" contest.

Unfortunately, in fairness, we could not put all entries in June’s basket,

as some just didn’t come up with “nine” names,
others wanted to try but gave up!

If any are wondering – here are the 17 names [in no special order] of our great woofers

and lovely kitties that were on our list, all would have been acceptable,
and yes – the black cats, the greys, and the grey-and-whites were not easy.

OONA    Across the Oonaverse
SMUDGE   Peeballs and Pooplogs
DUKE   Dandy Duke
daNELLY and/or daPHENNY   Easy Blog
STYX   The River Cats
GIDGET   Growing Up Gidget
ZIGGY   An Artist Reflects
KIZMET   The Cat On My Head
TYLER   Brian’s Home Blog
PRECIOUS   Precious
BENNY THE BLACK   The Poupounette
BEAU   MadSnapper N’ Beau
CB and/or MANNY   Eastside Cats
SASHA   Diamond Cat by Sasha
BRODY   15 and Meowing
REESIE   Friends FurEver
ROSY and SUNNY   Living the LLB Life

All entries with 9 names went into June's basket.

She wandered by, ignoring it.  A second time she passed by, nothing.

A few temptation treats were put into the bottom of the basket, and

June went into her "spaceship", not to be bothered.

It was up to me!

I went through all your entries, again, thank you!

FIVE ... had all correct [from the list above] names.

Others may have entered nine names, most very unfamiliar ... apawlogies.

Although originally we planned to award THREE prizes, why not?

This contest is in support of The Cat Blogosphere and its operating expenses,

prizes will be from GIFT TOPIA, where sales support the CB.

So, a change of mind, or heart or because we strongly support our CB ...

here are our FIVE WINNERS.
