THUMBELINA

Meet THUMBELINA, the world's smallest horse. She is just 17 1/2" tall and is from Goose Creek Farm in Missouri. She is part of the Goessling family and travels around the country visiting and bringing joy to children who are ill and hospitalized. Now about 6-years old, her family noticed at a very young age that she had an affinity for others who were not in good health, perhaps because of her own conditions her empathy was high. You can read more about her, and see at wonderful short video of her... click here to go to the Orlando Sentinel. There is also a story about Thumbelina at the Orlando Sentinel blog about animals, click here on Animal Crazy.

  1. Oh, I think Thumbelina is the cutest little horsie I have ever seen! I wish I could do some Circus stunts with her. But she has a very, very important job to do this year helping all those children. I am proud of her for doing such good work.
