O F L C T

O F L C T

The Zoolatry Human is going to get her eyes fixed up tomorrow. Well, at least one eye will get fixed. Then she goes next week so they fixes her other eye. Then she goes again two more times. The first two times they work on her retinal tears (no, not the crying tears, the torn tears). Then the next two times she says they will take away her cat-racks. Now that part has me a little worried cause I don't want any part of us cats taken away. But she says she'll be thankful when it's all over with, maybe she'll be able to make even better Zoolatry pictures for the kittehs and the peoples. Things won't be so fuzzywuzzy all the time. And just one more thing: she's worn spectaculars ever since she was in kittygarten, so that's like maybe 50 years! Maybe more! She wants to know why the eye doctors haven't changed the chart in all these years: it's still O F L C T and she memorized it a long time ago. Hey Mom, what's memorizing...?

  4. Good luck, and we'll be purrraying for your mom! Our mommy also wonders why they don't change the eye chart. She's got it memorized as well! Maybe they think that more people will actually be honest than will get by with saying the memorized letters. Mommy's always honest, but it's something that she wonders about.

  5. We hope at the eye tests and treatments go smoothly. It's a good point about the eye charts - it would make sense to have a screen that randomly jumbled the letters, wouldn't it?

  16. Good luck on the procedures. Mom's eye doc always has her read a different line first and then the last one she can see! Ti throws her off and she forgets O F L C T! He is sneeky!

  27. Well, we'd leave you a comment but we notice the one we left yesterday isn't there, so why leave one if it's going to disappear? Someone needs to feed google/blogger once in a while so it stops eating our comments.

But if we were going to leave a comment, we would say, we hope your mom's surgery goes well tomorrow. And the others too. She needs to be able to see your faces clearly so she can tell when you're into mischief.

  40. Purrs for a good surgery for your eyeballs. Mum thinks the chart is the same, but she has had docs ask her to read from right to left!

But if you are memorizing it, they really can't tell if they fixed your eyeballs correctly.

  48. Purrs and Prayers going up for your Mom, Zoey and Maggy, that her surgeries will go A O.K. My Mom had her cat-racks removed and she loves being able to see each individual leaf on the trees. She told me she has worn her glasses since the fifth grade and I bet that was eons ago. She still has to wear glasses but she doesn't have to wear coke bottom bottle lens anymore (whatever that means) any way she's happy she can see better. Your Mom will be happy that the fuzzies will be gone.
