THANKFUL THURSDAY

I would have thought that by her age, the Zoolatry Human would have learned how to tie her shoes. But it became obvious to me sometime ago, that she does poorly with this daily task. So each morning when I see her grab her sneakers off the shelf, I rush to assist.
Now, the art of shoe tying can be difficult. Particularly since we kittehs have no thumbs. I do however, find that my special toof is a big help. Sometimes I get a little tired after tying up one shoe and I go off to rest.
And then there are those mornings when I am ambitious, and I get both shoes done. She should be thankful. I think she should thank me with a treat or two, or three, or more...

  9. You're such a talented girl, Zoey. We do not think Mom has any shoes that tie.

  10. We like to help our dad tie his shoes too. Work boot shoelaces are really fun to play with (especially at 6AM!). Our mom isn't very good at shoe tying either so she wears shoes without ties - which is no fun at all!

  11. Hey, your human's shoes are actually white. How does she manage that?

Oh, right. You don't walk your human through the wet grass, slipping in the mud, hiking in all weather. We just love to walk Jan, but she sure does manage to get dirty. She must be naturally messy. Unlike us.

  12. Good job! That is one thing our humans seems capable of, but we have plenty of other jobs to do for them. Helping with the tuna comes to mind.

PS: Is it hard without thumbs?
