THANKFUL THURSDAY

The ZH wanted me to look at all these pictures from her photo album. She 'splained to me that these are what she calls "pictures of love". She also 'splained to me how she'd like it if Maggy and me "loved one another" like that. Well, I'm afraid we just don't. We're more into the art of sibling rivalry. But at night time, when the ZH goes to bed, I always come up beside her and we cuddle just like in these pictures. So I told her, "Mom, that's love." And she said, "yes, Zoey, it is, and I'm thankful for your love."
But now, if you look at this other picture I also found in her photo album, well, fur sure, this is "not love". Specially when it was the girls bedroom carpet that the little boy colored on. So I told the Zoolatry Human, "see, they don't always love one another." And she sighed, "yes, Zoey."

  2. Very nice "loving" pics. And the marked carpet - oh well, those things happen. Hopefully they were washable markers:)

  3. We think the little boy shows great promise as an artist. We love his choice of bold colors. The Zoolatry Human must have been very proud.

  4. I understand perfectly! Tallulah and I were like that...sometimes we'd baff each other and other times I was whappin' her and abusin' her with language I will not pollute the comment box by uttering here. But, I think I kinda miss her, in a distant, "How ya doin' waaay over there?" kinda way.

  8. Love is what gives kids and kitties a good home. Love is good. :)
Sometimes we fight cuz we are not
    exactly the same. Differences are
    good too! :)

  10. Zoey, I understand about the sibling rivalry thing - we have a lot of that in our house. I am always trying to get the kitties to be snuggly (I even put a little nip on them sometimes) but most of the time it doesn't work - even if they tolerate it for a couple minutes they end up fighting.

  11. That's priceless!

You know, you can really love each other, but not like them very much at times! I think that's what you and Maggy have going.

  13. If you want kitties who love each other... get boy kitties! My boys are always togeFUR. They play games togeFUR and sleep togeFUR! They even play the dominance game aka leap frog. No one ever gets mad or upset!

My girls... 7.5 years ago... Joy chased Puffy out of the kitten room when she accidentally got in after the kittens were first born. She was a brand new mom and nervous. They have had a feud going ever since. Candy isn't mean to either of them- but they aren't real nice to her either! My girls will be nice with the boys... but not each other! What is it about girls? My sister has 3 kitty girls... all aloof with each other.
