the ZH says we can take part in this annual event.

IN A LAND CALLED ZOOLATRY

PURRS, two little kitties, they lived by the sea. They rolled and romped throughout the days in a land called Zoolatry.
Many friends would visit, their pictures all would see, and read the stories of their glories, they shared with you and me.
PURRS, two little kitties, they lived by the sea.  They played and preened throughout the days in a land called Zoolatry.
Together they would travel to places far and wide, to visit friends and swish their tails, the ZH by their side.
PURRS, two little kitties, they lived by the sea, they sometimes hissed and fur would fly in a land called Zoolatry.
Some blogs might last forever ~ for some that's not the way.  The kitties knew t'was time to go [we'll come back another day].
Our heads we bow with sadness, our tails swish cra-Z-ily, but blogging every day ~ is simply not to be.
PURRS, two little kitties, they lived by the sea, they loved their blog, they loved their friends from the land of Zoolatry.
We hope we've brought you joy and fun, made you laugh and smile, today we're here to say farewell ~ just for a little while.
PURRS, from Maggy and Zoey, who live by the sea, and one day soon, they will return to the Land of Zoolatry.

I think the ZH is trying to get back in my "good graces" after all I've had to put up with during this past week.  We like to be part of all the Friday Fun Events and usually choose just one.  But today (with a little extra encouragement from me) she agreed I could be part of:

Funny Picture Friday, Femme Friday and Friends Friday.  Isn't that special?

I chose this for Funny Picture Friday ~ the ZH can't quite figure out how I managed to do this.

And this is my Femme Friday choice ~ don't you agree it reflects my soft sweetness.

Last but not least ~ Friends Friday.  Now this picture was not my choice, he's been on my blog a little too often lately as it is.  You know who chose this picture!  However, I do have to admit we are becoming friends.  I feel especially friendly towards him when he shares his toys with me...

THANKFUL THURSDAY

It's Thankful Thursday, and friends, I have to say, I'm thankful to have my blog back!

Honestly, after the past 3-days I wondered if it would ever happen.

I will have to have a little talk with the ZH however, as I'm not sure why she chose to

show this photo, which she fondly called "Middle Aged Spread".

A FEW WEDNESDAY WORDS

Sigh.  Yesterday it was the furless kitteh taking over my blog.  Now I have to compete with

those five little outdoor kittehs and their Mom, PK ... what's a girl to do? 

MY TERRIBLE TUESDAY TALE by ZOEY

Honestly, dear furry friends, I simply do not understand.  I mean, after all, isn't this MY blog?  I've always assumed (I do know an old joke about the word "assume", but good taste prevents me from posting it here)... anyway, I've always assumed this was MY blog.  Z for ZOEY, Z for Zoolatry and if you look at the numbers on the sidebar, my posts far outweigh all the others!  As of yesterday, I've got 541 posts... Maggy isn't even close, cause if you put her two together, it's just a mere 224.  And I'm not even counting all the times I'm in the Zoolatry Girls category, or other special pictures.  But I digress.  The thing is, my terrible tale to tell is ... ever since this other kitteh started coming to the house every day, the ZH seems to prefer taking his picture, and I really don't understand.  I do try to sneak into the photos, I really do.  Then I tried just ignoring the ZH, and looking away.  Nothing seems to work.  Her attention is elsewhere.  What's a girl to do?  And for Bast's sake: look at that last photo... I had to add a "pointer" so you wouldn't miss seeing me!  Sigh... any advice or counsel can be emailed to me and will be much apurrciated.  P.S. Perhaps I should start a new blog, the "Zoey Blog"?  I could call it B.O.Z.O. ~ BY ONE ZOEY ONLY.
PPS... guess you need not bother to comment, googly is "eating" all the comments today before we can even read them... and the minute we click on them they all go poof, disappear!

Guess it all adds up to my being rather furry...

THURSDAY THIRTEEN

You purrably know the ZH loves to play with photoshop; in fact, lots of the pictures on this blog are often "fake" pictures.  Well, they start out as real pictures, but that doesn't last long.  Now you might wonder how this qualifies for Thursday-13... well, she says it took 13 layers to make this silly picture of the grands and me at their pool one weekend not long ago...

1. The yellow background layer

2. The blue border layer

3. The main photo (of the pool) layer, heavily altered

4. Add "me" -- to the main photo layer
5. Add the grands to the main photo layer

6. Draw in some sunshine

7. Add a little more sunshine with alterations

8. One water wave at the bottom

9. Another water wave and yet another

10. You guessed it ~ one more water wave

11.  There was a gator in the pool ~ they're all over Flahyeeda ~ but we took him out

12.  There were some toys in the pool ~ but we took those out, too

13.  Maggy was at poolside; however, I managed to get on the pooter when the ZH wasn't around, and of course, I removed Maggy.  She only gets to be on the blog on Mondays as far as I'm concerned.
