What a simply lovely photo of two very beautiful relations. I'm sure you treasure it. I love sepia photos ~ they have an elegance all of their own.
Someone once asked me what 2 items I would take if I had to leave my house in an emergency (pets and people were assumed rescued already) ~ the answer was my box of photographs (pre-digital) and my laptop (because there are more recent digital photos on it).
That is an absolutely wonderful shot of your mother and grandmother. You can tell they knew that this photo shoot was an important occasion! No snap shots and macro photograhy for them!
A gorgeous keepsake, depicting love and beauty=what a special treasure!...Thanks for sharing your sweet family portrait...Happy weekend; big hugs, sweet friends...xoxo...J, Calle, Halle, Sukki
Beautiful is definitely the word to use!!! Your mother's dress looks a lot like the baptismal gown all the big and little bipeds wore here that was Mom's grandfather's handmade in Ireland.
What a beautiful photo! I have some antique family photos that I adore also. I need to have them restored, though. This photo is truly a lovely treasure.
