HOUSE OF HORRORS by FIN, Housecat Confidential

The fabulous floofer Fin over at Housecat Confidential
is hosting the House of Horrors Week.
Maggy decided to share with you a few words and pictures about
what she calls her Small Horror, or the SH.

As you may know, I like to spend most of my time enjoying the breezes and sun spots of the back porch.  But most early mornings you can find me on the window ledge in the guest room, as the rising sun streams in here.  Usually this is a good place to be.  Even Zoey "the botherer" doesn't much bother me here.
But yesterday morning, Monday, well, admittedly, I forgot about that SH ...
Yes, the SH.  Small Horror.  Or Small Human if I must be kind.  He invades my space.  He wants to play.  He wants to touch my furs.  Oh, horrors.  Please do not touch me.  He has only one speed you know: VERY FAST.  He purrs with only one volume: VERY LOUD.  And he does not touch, he grabs and swats and tugs.  Yes, it is a horror indeed to be subjected to this treatment.  Go away, I say.
Gramma, Maggy isn't being nice. Maggy doesn't want to play with me.
See, see the look on his face!  I know he's off to find some
Lego's that he can throw at me.
He thinks he's won this battle.  But I shall win the war.
Perhaps if I scootch back a bit more behind the curtain, he won't know I'm here.
All suggestions on how to handle the SH will be welcome.
I guess I should be glad the Small Horror is only here on Mondays and Fridays,
the other days he goes to day care.
I can rest up on the in-between days.  Speaking of  "horrors", I just had a eureka
moment... I wonder if I can make arrangments for Zoey to go to day care...

  2. Ahh, but dear Maggy, we have learned the the SH's here can be very good about leaving treats by way of crumbs for us. Maybe you can make a deal with this SH.

  6. Maggy, when the LH come around my house, I go under the bed as far in the corner as I can get and quietly hide until they go home. I feel your pain.

  9. Well. Obviously the window should be relocated up three feet higher. That should deter the Sticky Humanettes!

  13. When the SH's come here we all go hide and don't come out until they are gone.

That is a pretty bright idea you had about if you can send Zoey to daycare. Hugs and nose kisses

  19. One thing I used to do with Little Horrors is I would go limp. I mean completely limp. I wouldn't move at all. They would soon lose interest in me. It worked most of the time.

good luck with it... pawhugs, Max
