When the ZH and Poppy were house-hunting back in 2000, they looked and looked and looked. Then one day, the ZH said "this is it!". Poppy said, "what do you like best about this house?" And the ZH replied, "the trees! I can see trees from every window in the house, nothing but trees!". And so they bought this house. So they bought this house for the TREES.
That's Maggy on the back porch. Everyone loves the back porch. The house has lots of windows, I counted them today and there are twenty windows and the ZH is right, you can see TREES from every one of them. The back porch used to look like a jungle, cause the ZH had so many plants and even trees out there. But when I came to live here in 2006, I liked to climb them and chew them and dig in them and eat them, I liked that a lot ~ so she had to get rid of all the inside TREES.
Wow! Julie says..I've been really lucky to have found a house with lots of trees, too! When both the outside and inside are just what you're looking for, it can make things very cozy. (and eeeverybody should have a kitty corner!)

Mommy said she fell in love with the big OAK Tree down by our pond and that is why they bought our house.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to see trees from every window must be pawsome.
ack....blogger ate our comment :(
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any trees because we eat them...we even try to eat the Christmas Tree and it's fake!!

Mom says she would love that house just for the gorgeous porch alone!!! One of these days she vows she will have a porch.

Lovely photo hunt, your views are just beautiful...Happy weekend, sweeties...kisses...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteMaggy that is a very nice porch to enjoy sunning and looking at the trees. We love trees too and have them all around us. We would love to have a porch like yours, sure would be a lot of window washing though and Mumsy can't reach up any longer so that would pose a problem. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteTrees are great. The Woman is very distressed about Ichiro eating all their plants and hopes to find some non toxic ones that he won't even like...
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting here with my hands over the eyes of "The Boys" 'cause they sure would love that back porch. And if they don't see it, they won't know what they're missing.
ReplyDeleteAnd trees?! I love trees, and unfortunately so many of them in our area had to be trimmed back and/or taken down.
Love the photos story you've shared of GJ.
Bhu wants to know if "The Maggy" comes with the house?
ReplyDeleteTrees are nice! But quite frankly your "back porch" looks nicer than "our house"! MOL!
ReplyDeleteI love the view from your windows! You are two lucky kitties to have such a wonderful bird TV in your house.
ReplyDeleteMy mom loves your house!
I love the back porch. I wish I could see something other than houses out my windows!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely back porch. It looks so light and airy, a great place for a furry to relax and enjoy the afternoon. And a human too, if you're in the mood to share. :)
ReplyDeleteI know you've got the place on the market but there is NO way I'd move from such a house. I'd stay in it until I couldn't pick up a dust rag again!
