To those who are asking about todays post picture: Carpetbagger.  It is an Adobe Photoshop image.  I took a photo of the shaggy, off white carpet in the guest room.  I took a photo of Zoey sleeping.  The two photos were merged (overlay) with one another.  They were not desaturated (to convert to black and white) completely, but were about 75% desaturated of any color.  They were softened, blurred ... and well, as best I recall, I probably used a half-dozen other photoshop tools ~ brushes and filters ~ until I had created the image that was in my minds eye.  Most often when finished with an image ~ I have no idea "how I did it".

  1. That is the most amazing photo yet! It would be perfect on a Sympathy card, don't you think? It is so 'angel' like...

  5. Wow. The most I know how to do is apply a high pass or gaussian blur and overlay or use soft light, depending on what I prefer. LOL. As always, I'm in awe of your talent, Ann. Looking forward to the holiday header and e-card. (No pressure--lol!)
