WHAT THE H ... ? HOW THE H ... ?

First, Zoey ~ and the unsolved mystery of her injury.
Now, Maggy ~ how the h ...  did she do this?
I get a file from the cabinet; I leave the file drawer open momentarily and turn to
put the file elsewhere.  Turn back, close file drawer.  Wait, it won't close!
What the h ... ?  Why won't it close?  Try to close again, harder.  MEOW!
See what's there, that's why it will not close.  It's Maggy.  I tease her, talk to her, offer her treats.  All to no avail.  Now, the back of this cabinet and the sides are solid, to the floor. It has a base, it is not open on the bottom.  How did she get in there ~ that little opening is not even 2-inches wide!  This is not a "flat cat".   I sit on the floor and stare at the cabinet, I stare at Maggy, trying figure out this puzzle (and of course, I take a picture).  It seems I will have to wait until Poppy is up from a nap, we will have to get tools and remove the drawer, or the back of the cabinet, I can think of nothing else.  But, she got in there on her own, she must be able to get out the same way ~ if she wants to.  But she's a cat, she probably wants to worry me, she probably wants all the attention that went to Zoey last week or more.  She's being stubborn.  She's being Maggy!  So, I go off to do laundry, gather tools to be ready.  An hour or so passes, Poppy is not up yet, and I am now putting wet laundry in the dryer.  MEOW!
Well, hello there Maggy ... how are you today?

  1. Maggy decided upon a whim
to make herself seem very slim
    she held breath in
    until she seemed thin
then hid behind the cabinet drawer
    on the floor!
    That was awesome!
    Maggy is pawsome!

  13. If you would like to know the answer to the mystery, I might be able to provide some insight.

Usually there is some space above the drawer, and with the drawer half in, there is a bit more room to go up and over the back of the drawer.

It used to happen all the time over here until I figured out how they were doing it and now I don't leave drawers half open any more.

  14. That's Poppy's file cabinet and if you open both drawers it falls over and all the files spill out. He tried pulling me out by my fur tail once and won't try that again. We don't know how the Magster got in there either. I hope she teaches me but I know she won't. Not a nice big sister.
