  5. I have noticed that the black ink blob is gone on word verification on the blogs that I read. I still do not like the two word (non word script) they are suing!

  7. We turned off WV some time ago and occasionally get spam but Blogger usually isolates it so we just delete it.
This post really made our Mommy LOL!

  8. Loving your new look:)

We don't like those mystery words either, but at least a lot of blogs are getting rid of the word verification thingie,

  10. MOL! We love this! We also noticed the black ink blog is gone which does help. We also get frustrated when we're already signed into blogger, but then must retype our name, email, url, etc.

  11. We so wish everyone would disable these sign in verifications ~ they put us right off leaving comments. xx

  12. Haha. Very funny, gals.

We left a comment on Mario's blog about the spam he's getting. There is a difference between receiving spam and it being posted. If it's being posted, it can be stopped w/o turning on wv or comment moderation.

  13. We agree, we hate that word verification. We don't know abour Wordpress etc, but Blogspot blogs don't need it as catching spam without publishing it is one of the few things that Blogger does well.

  14. SERIOUSLY!! It's just about that difficult! We need to find whoever came up with this newest version, drag him into the street, set the cats loose to scratch him all over and then treat the scratches with lemon juice...
Um.. yeah, the word thing bugs me just a touch, can you tell?

  15. I've had no spam or any other problems since turning off that word thingy. But already today I couldn't leave two comments I really wanted to leave 'cause of WV. It made me sad.
