Zoey, time for bed, pick up your toys.
Can I please have some help, thank you.
You made the mess, you should clean it up.
But I have no thumbs, I need a little help, please and thank you.
You are old enough to learn a little responsibility now, I think you can do it.
But I'm only going to play with them again tomorrow, why bother
to put them away? Please. Thank you.
to put them away? Please. Thank you.
Well, I don't want to trip and fall over this mess in the morning.
Now pick it all up!

Zoey, I am not falling for your sweet talk.
Purr, purr, please ...meow, meow, meow ...
ah, but we all know she will fall for it, any minute now,
just wait and see, as soon as I rub up against her leg,
and look up at her with my big baby blues ...

Of course she will help you Zoey. Who could resist your lovely eyes.
ReplyDeleteOh Zoey, Hope that mom ended up helping you pick up those toys. We bet you did give her a cute face to get her to help you. You all have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the collection of toys, hope mom helped you out!
ReplyDeleteOh of course you she will fall for it. You are too cute for words, sweet Zoey. I bet you gave her "kiss-kisses" afterward, didn't you?
ReplyDeleteShe thinks that is a mess? Wow, she has never actually seen a mess then! She ought to visit our house and see the messes we can make. Toys all through the house. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a bunch of toys sweetie. I'm neat about my basket because I refuse to play with anything. M keeps buying things for me hoping something will strike me as fun, but all I go for is the Niko Fly and string!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I'm so happy to have found your blog again! I don't know if you remember us, but we used to write Raising Rama. Well, Rama has since grown up and we have graduated to a new blog! I hope you come by and follow us to see everything that's going on now! Can't wait to catch up and read everything that has happened on your blog!

That's what human staff are for. What is she thinking?
ReplyDeleteWe just read today about a Mom who picks up toys each night before going to bed and then "sells" them the next day to the kids. If they can't buy them with their allowances, they get donated to charity,
ReplyDeleteWe're still trying ta figure out if that's fair. We mean, we can't pick up OUR toys too well ta put them away. TBT says iffen we would just sort of collect them in a pile, that would be OK.
Our question is "What's an allowance"?
Love all those toys!
ReplyDeleteThere is no way anyone could resist helping you beautiful Zoey. You are sweeter than sugar and what a nice stash of toys you have. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteOf course, we knew your mommy would help you. She's just a big old softy. With eight of us, Mom can't keep our toys picked up. She only does it if we are having special company (not just her friends) or the housekeeper is coming. We have her trained just the way we like just as you have your mom trained. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteMaggie has thumbs, but uses them to make messes! Yes, Mom always cleans it up! ~xo~
ReplyDeletePepiSmartDog: what a lot of great toys; woops, I mean hunting instruments! BOL!
