MAGGY TELLS ALL [and-poo-on-goo-gul]

Hi ~ Maggy  here ~ and being the smartest of the Zoolatry Girls, I'd like to take the opportunity of it being Maggy Monday to explain what happened with our Gmail as it sort of put the Zoolatry Human into a bit of a hissy-fit over the weekend [and hissy fits should be reserved for we kitties].

Apparently, she had no idea [the light bulb in her attic did not go on] that Gmail has a limit on the amount of mail one can send every 24-hours, and when she sends out a message to the entire/whole/humonguous pet blogging world about furriends who need Purrs and Prayers, and our furriends who have crossed their Rainbow Bridges, each of those messages go to about 360 bloggers!  Well, Google counts those all as individual messages!  And her limit is 2000 messages unless she wants to pay for more, which she refuses to do.

So when she kept sending all of you messages about our furriends this past weekend ~ suddenly, Google said to her ... "MEOW, NO MORE, You've reached your limit ... you're banned for the next 24-hours!"  And that was that!  Well, she played around with all kinds of settings and this-and-that, but it didn't matter, you know Google runs the show and you don't mess with them.  Right?  Right!

But the thing is we really don't care.  You furriends are what's IMPORTANT and we want to share news with you, because we know it's IMPAWTENT news when our furriends are hurting and in need.  So, if we didn't respond to a question or a thank you or whatever, please forgive us ... we'll do our best to catch up, one on one when Google allows us to do so.  Until then ... Hugs from Zoolatry ...

  3. Bad, Bad google, We so hope your email is restored for you today. Google needs to realize how important those messages are for everyone. They are just the best. It was a very sad day all the way around.

  4. Beautiful picture of you Maggie. That business with google must have been very very frustrating for your Mom. I guess not a lot of people send over 2000 messages in a day unless it is related to spam or business in some way. Your Mom was just awesome over the weekend sending all the messages to let everybody know about our furriness and to send us badges for our blogs about them.

  8. Guess the g-mail peeps just don't understand that sometimes there are VERY GOOD reasons for sendin' out a lot of e-mails. They're probably more geared for businesses and whatnot and don't understand 'bout the world that is our blogosphere.

  11. Oh Sweetheart, tell your humans not to worry. If we don't hear from you for a few days, it will be okay. Ann does such a tremendous job in keeping all of us posted, that we are spoiled. And, we do appreciate all her efforts. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

  13. You tell 'em, Maggy! Those dummies over at goo-gul have their nerve. How dare they shut down Ms. Ann's email! Ggggggrrrrrrrr. There's plenty of not good stuff out there they should shut down, but instead they do this! Go figure.
Well, hugs. Maybe they will come to their senses soon.

  14. Oh, dear, we hadn't realized all those messages put the ZH in the doghouse (so to speak) with Google. We were so grateful to receive each of them, as they shared bad but important news. (We hate for any furry to be ill or to have to leave for the RB.) Saturday was a terrible day among the furries.
