CATURDAY ART

What do you do with a photo that came out of the camera "all wrong"?
It's blurry.  It's full of "junk" in the foreground and "junk" in the background.
The lighting isn't good.  You were in such a rush to "capture the moment" that
you just didn't adjust any camera settings and you shook the camera in your anxiousness
to get that special picture!  Yet, sometimes the quality of a photo isn't so much in the details
or actual "quality" but in the emotion invoked by that image.  In this photo, my
grandboy began to read a story to Dougie Dog and Dougie Dog seemed to be listening
intently ~ a brief moment in time I did not want to lose ~
But all in all, not a very good photograph for the memory book.
Below, photoshopped ~ for Caturday Art ~ stylized into something more dramatic.
Not necessarily better, mind you ~ just different!

  7. BOL - most of our photos are "junk" photos, but Mom says the important thing is to capture that special moment sometimes. We think Dougie is very attached to his boy. And most likely vice versa:)
