THE WILD ANIMALS OF BANDHAVGARH ~ and CATURDAY ART

In December, my daughter, son-in-law and grandson traveled to Kolkata, India for a three-week vacation.  One of the highlights was a side trip to the state of Madhya Pradesh in Central India where they spent several days on safari, enjoying and photographing the wildlife at Bandhavgarh National Park.  One never can know for sure, on trips such as these, whether wildlife will be seen in their natural environment or not.  But in this case, they were truly lucky ~ traveling out into the wilds, they saw langur, jackal, spotted deer, abundant bird life, leopard, and yes ~ tiger.  What an amazing adventure!  Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing many of their photographs, beautiful pictures of beautiful animals, living as they were meant to live.

And just for fun, because today is CATURDAY ART day,
two Langur ... seemed appropriate (pun intended) for upcoming Valentine's Day!

  9. How regal that little fellow looks in the first shot! He just needs a teacup in hand to complete the look.
