Yes, I admit it. I was moody and whiny yesterday. My toy basket and toys had disappeared.
But then ...
The basket, and all the toys, and my precious tennis balls ... reappeared.
And to my surprise ...
A new little stuffy on top! Isn't he cute?
We cuddled together right away.
But then ... turns out I might have to "return to sender". The grandma accidentally put one of the grandboy beans stuffy toys into my basket (we both have a lot of stuffies and the grandma says she can't always tell the dog stuffies from the boy stuffies!) and it seems this little stuffy belongs to the grandboy, and it's not really a dog toy, and I'd probably unstuff him in a new-york-minute ... so I have a sneaking suspicion that tomorrow morning, my toy basket will be minus one ... then I'll be moody again ...
Sounds like ya should be gettin a couple of new replacement toys to make up for it!
ReplyDeleteOh dear.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty cute toy and you look so good with him.
Maybe the grandboy can have another toy ;)

That is a mean trick to give you a toy and take it, sigh! Hope you get some extra treats out of their error.
ReplyDeleteOh, you and that stuffy are the cutest pair, Dougie! Pup Astrid knows all about the de-stuffing of toys. Perhaps your boy will share, though?
ReplyDeleteOh that is too bad that you have to give up your new stuffy but maybe you can have another new stuffy soon.
ReplyDeleteYou really like that toy, Dougie Dog!
ReplyDeleteDougie, perhaps you will receive a new toy to replace the stuffy that doesn't belong. Then you'll be happy again!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great squeaky toy!
ReplyDeleteBummer on that, Dougie - maybe that little boy will let you share:)

Hey Dougie... if you LIKE that Stuffie... just take one of yours and Trade it with the Boy. That would be nice. Right?
ReplyDeleteOh, no! That happens here sometimes too. Although, it's typically dog heartbreak over losing very small and fragile cat toys. Sinead just can't stand it when that happens.

Dougie, we are sorry they teased you with such a great toy
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry you're losing your new favorite stuffie. We'd say your grandma owes you one, but we have a suspicion you don't lack for a stack of them.
ReplyDeleteTotally understand I hate when my toys balls and blankets disappear. It's like a breathe of fresh air when my world is restored to it's normal state.
ReplyDeleteToys are serious business. xo
ReplyDeleteOops, at least you get to enjoy that boy stuffie for awhile. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteThis looks like true love to us. We suggest another one of the same stuffy be found for you, Dougie. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
