A-Z CHALLENGE, The Letter I, Impossible

TUESDAY, APRIL 11
THE LETTER I

IMPOSSIBLE.  Zero gravity, floating in air.  Impossible? No!  If you are on the International Space Station, not at all impossible, you'll be doing it all the time.  If you're an astronaut in training, you'll likely be floating in zero gravity in some lab in Houston.  And if you're a Hollywood actor, you'll "look" like you're floating in air in one of those crazy outer space movies thanks to the special effects guys and gals.  So ... impossible?  You tell me.
And if you're a kid, whose Grandma (me) happened at the time to live on Merritt Island where the Kennedy Space Center is and you were visiting there ... well, you just might get your "fun foto" taken to look like you, too, were floating in air.  You know, zero gravity.  Impossible?  Maybe Not!

  3. That looks like fun! I had no idea they had a zero gravity training lab in Houston. I thought the astronauts still trained on the "Vomit Comet" where a special plane in a special parabolic arc lets the trainees experience weightless-ness for a short period of time.
