My NEW Backyard, Part 4

There I go.  Here I come.
The humans say "he's running the perimeter".
This is usually the first thing I do when I come down to my NEW backyard.
Got to check it all out.  Sometimes there are bunnies hiding in the back brush (but they seem to
be faster than me and run and hide under the shed).  I haven't caught a bunny yet.  And the squirrels
can climb the fence or the trees, so I haven't caught one of them either.  And there used to be lots
and lots of deer and at this time of year, little baby deer, but so far they haven't come inside my NEW backyard fence,
but they're in the front yard or staying in neighboring yards,
but I wouldn't mess with a deer anyway.
I just find all my tennis balls (and there are lots of them all over the yard)
and wait for any human to come play with me. I love my NEW backyard.

  1. Dougie Dog, your new back yard looks funner than fun! Just imagine how many tennis balls it would take to fill it. What a wonderful thought!

  4. Your new backyard is lovely. Perimeter patrol is very important. Flynn made sure he did his patrols right up to the day before he had to leave us.

  9. That is a very nice fence, Dougie. You can see outside of it so easily. We do the same thing, run the perimeter, have to check for invaders. Then we check just about every inch of the yard to see who was grazing there overnight.
