AND THE WALLS COME TUMBLING DOWN ...

Yesterday ~ Day # 1 of a complete remodel/renovation of the lower level of our home!  Only 56 more days to go if we're lucky ... 56+ days to go if  "not so lucky".  Meanwhile, everything that used to be downstairs is now upstairs (like family room furniture and bedroom furniture and stuff that was stored in the utility room in boxes) ... so upstairs we are tripping over one another and everything (!!!) and will do so for those same 56 days (or 56+ days).  Meanwhile, back on the lower level ... yesterday, on Day # 1, why not paint on walls that will come down?  The floor already is gone, the first thing to go ... and one wall disappeared really fast on Monday.  The wall the kid painted will "fall" today ... windows and doors next?  Who knows?  Lots of dust ... lots of noise ... sometimes no power (no internet ...).  Fun times!  We'll be here on Zoolatry, when we can ...

  1. Aacckkkk! Best of luck, I hope there are no hidden "surprises", Ann! On the plus side, it'll be awesome when completed, and it's a great opportunity to go through accumulated "stuff" and declutter, donate, etc.

  4. We're sending purrs, woofs, and wishes that those 56 (+) days go by quicker than quick! In the meantime, we thinking turning the wall into a canvas is the perfect idea.
