CATURDAY ART ~ Color Blocking Dougie Dog

We thought to try something "new" for us for Caturday Art today ... "color blocking" ...
somewhat in the style of Piet Mondrian, the great 20th century Dutch artist.
Although many of his paintings depicted nature and it's varied beauty, he is perhaps best recognized for his abstract work
using the bold primary colors of red, yellow and blue.

BELOW: photo color blocked in primary colors
"copying" [somewhat] the style of Mondrian

LAST IMAGE: our own style of color blocking

It's CATURDAY ART time, sponsored by Athena and Marie,

  2. Oh Dougie, that is such a good picture of you and some good art too. We like the second one the best. But they are all good. You all have a great day.
