Dougie Dog was sitting by a window ... his body bathed in strong sunlight, but his head and face back in shadow, so was the photo I shot. Endlessly I played with it ... trying to create something different and unique for today's Caturday Art. But in the end, using the concept of "less is more" I went back to the original photo and only highlighted the light areas, and darkened the dark areas ... then slightly sharpened the image overall. Lastly, it was given a beveled frame. Reasonably satisfied ... yes, sometimes less is more. And so, we're joining Caturday Art, sponsored by Athena and Marie.
