ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY

We could not even begin to list the number of species, across all forms of life,
that are endangered today, whose numbers are rapidly declining.  We could not even begin
to count those who have already disappeared from our planet over the ages.
Generations to come will never even know the beauty of many who inhabit our world today.
Do what you can, when you can.  Please.

  5. Last week we read about all the species that are gone and are threatened. Very sad. So many creatures our grandchildren and their children won't get to see.

  6. It's very sad to see all of these animals becoming endangered. Hopefully, people will find a way to live in harmony with all of these species.

  7. We have a friend who visits the Chincoteague ponies every year and sends us pictures. The species we worry about the most are the bumblebees. People use way too much pesticides on their lawns these days, and we see less bumbles each year.

  10. It's important to remember that they aren't just "dying;" for the most part, they are being killed for sport or humans have destroyed their habitats. It breaks my heart!
