THANKFUL THURSDAY

These are some of the friends that often join me when I'm sun-bathing on the deck.  Well, I admit there are a few more here than usual (the Zoolatry Human added some for "visual effect" she calls it), but I don't bother them at all.  The great outdoors is their home ... and I am thankful they're here and I have no right to mess with them.  They are tiny, and cute and fun to watch!  Although, there is one, very large bumblebee that buzzes around and I do try to jump and catch him ... the ZH says I'll be mightily sorry if I do ... my tongue and throat may have a big hurty!  But I keep trying anyway, cause he really drives me crazy!  Otherwise, I really am thankful for all my outdoor buddies!

Are you thankful for insects?
Don't bother them please if they are only doing their
thing in their world!
Today we joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop
at Brian's Home Blog.

  1. Bailie was chasing a bumble bee yesterday and got in trouble for doing it. They can hurt a pup, and we should leave them alone.

  3. Oh don't be chasing the bumble bees, Mitzie got stung
on her foot. Thank goodness we found it.
Hanging out on the deck can be such fun watching the
other stuff like birds and tree rats.

  4. We love bugs and spiders. Well, except for those ants that somehow find their way into the kitchen, and stink bugs with whom I've had many epic battles. Oh, and mosquitoes. I especially love June bugs. They're delicious!

  5. We try never to hurt anything. If we find a bug inside our home we carefully return it to the outside. You're a good pup, Dougie. Our Little Bit hated flies. With a passion.

Have a woof woof Thankful Thursday. My best to Zoey and your mom. ♥

  9. I don't like bugs. I act like a nutcase until mom either gets them out of the house or if I'm outside, you would think I had ants in my AirePants☺
