JULY EVENTS BADGES and THANKFUL THURSDAY

The month of July starts out with a "bang" and we're talking about the usual fireworks!  For those who enjoy visiting the zoo, it's American Zoo Day and we're hoping many may be open again, or opening soon!  The first is also ID Your Pet Day, something we doubt pet bloggers really need reminding about.  And of course, for all our wonderful friends and furriends to the North ... July 1 is Canada Day.  And the rest of July brings lot of other important and fun events week in and out.

A side note on those fireworks: so many of our pets are in fear of the loud noises of fireworks (thunder and such) and it is horribly sad to witness their distress.  Maybe this year with all the issues going on in our world, these events will be toned down.  But if not, please do all you can do to secure and protect your pets environment when these events occur.

CLICK ON THIS LINK to grab your badges for the month, or if you don't have the time to do so now, come back later.  The page link for the month can always be found, top right just under our header.

We're thankful to be able to bring these to you each month.  If you know of an event, open to all pet bloggers that we've missed ~ let us know by email.  We'll be glad to post your badge, or design one and update the events page.  Or email us if you have any questions about events.  And remember all the weekly Blog Hops you can join with friends from near and far.  Thank you.

  2. The fireworks have already started in our neighborhood. Last night, Molly crawled underneath the bed and didn't come out for quite awhile. We hate fireworks!

  8. We're lucky that we live far enough away from the town park that the fireworks aren't so loud as to bother us much.

  9. Our house finally has a day! There's no date mentioned so the whole month should be Zoo month.

  14. Down the hill and across the street is a lake where fireworks are set off near the community centre.
We have a lot of big trees that block most of the lake and helps muffle the fireworks.
With lots of people using them these days, we are kinds used to them and lucky for us, they are not too loud. We wouldn't want them any closer! Thanks for the badges too :)

  15. Fireworks are illegal here, but of course that does not stop anyone. It is sad, it makes the humans with PTSD upset as well. My daughter was there for moral support with a veteran of two tours of Afghanistan once on July 4, she was glad to be there but it was very difficult.
