CATURDAY ART ~ WALL ART MONTAGES

For Caturday Art we're sharing a recent montage, printed and framed.  Having moved to a new apartment
we wanted some "wall art", so designed a few montages ~ of our kitty family and of our wonderful grands (seen below).
It was disappointing that the quality of my printer images was not
better, but it will do for now.  Montages are interesting and fun to design, and though one might
think simple to do, not so, as they can be quite challenging.

  1. Very nice! Mom doesn't print anything at home anymore. She gets everything done at Walgreens. With a coupon code it's usually super cheap and much better than anything she could do at home. Walmart does a good job too.

    1. Am thinking of putting all the images on a flash drive and letting Walgreens print; you're so right that what they'll print will be crisp, clear and have good color! Home printers just don't cut it!

  2. I do know how hard it is to create a montage that you want to print and hang on the wall. Getting everything to sit in so that you can print it that the size that you want is really hard. That's why you saw all those frames of different sizes on my wall. I just printed them in 4 by 6 or 5 by 7 and a cheap frame and hung them that way. Most of the frames came from the Dollar Tree or picked up for a dollar at a garage sale or thrift store. I refuse to pay the exorbitant prices that they charge for frames now. I love your wall art

  3. While on a conference video call, someone noticed the art behind me; cats in a tree library!
However, because our walls are plaster & latch, making nail holes is difficult, so The Hubby put up additional shelves in our shelving unit, so my cat collection is there.

  6. That is a beautiful collection of your special family, human and feline. Maybe it isn't what you would like for quality of image, but it is still beautiful.

  7. That is beautiful. Having Juney sort of in front shows her as current. She is going to have a wonderful life with you!

  8. Even if the quality is not the best, it is lovely to have such reminders of those we love.
