SUNDAY SELFIE, In My Closet

As I grow up, I learn new things.  My ZH said no matter how much we grow up, we should never grow old and never stop learning new things.  I have been learning about days and weeks and counting them, not a terribly interesting topic I'll admit.  So what does what I'm learning have to do with this picture?  Well, I'm here in her big walk-in closet.  She had it full of things (oh my goodness, what fun and interesting things were here).  She put all these things here when she came to this new home just two-months ago!  Then I came to this new home just a bit longer than one-month ago.  (see how I'm learning about the days and weeks!).  Well, soon after coming here to my new home I discovered this wonderful closet and all the things that were hiding in here.  And soon after that, my ZH had to move one little thing off the hanging rod behind me, then another and another.  She seemed to think these things were a bit too tempting for my paws-and-claws.  But even before that, she had to move this and that and the other off the top of this chest of drawers.  I am now on top of this chest of drawers, just me, myself and I.  All those fascinating things that used to be here (and often ended up on the floor) just seemed to disappear.  I don't know where they went.  There is not another big walk-in closet.  Maybe they are in the dresser drawers, or in boxes, or on top of shelves in another closet.  Where could they be?  Now it is just me.  Only me up here.  No tempting things.  No temptations for my little paws-and-claws are behind me or beside me.  Now my closet is a rather boring place.  It's fast losing interest for me.  And it's only been like 35-or-40 some days!  (See how I am learning to count!).  She says, oh what mischief a curious little kit can get into in such a short time.  Now I have to say bye, I will be spending my day, this one day ~ in search of a more interesting closet.  Or cupboard.  Or ~ oh my, look at that bookshelf in the corner, look at all the things on that bookshelf . . .

  1. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!! and you do look a little lost with all that space, but i am sure you will quickly find more places to get in mischief..

  2. You know, for every space you know about there's probably three more you don't. Even for an antique feline I've recently learned how to open a pocket door on mom's laundry room, so now and then dad wakes up and finds the door slid open. Go find where she put all that stuff and make it yours!

  3. What a smoochable face! 💖

Juney, your ZH just needs to add some comfy blankets to the top of the dresser to make it a good napping spot!

  6. Awww, a delightful account of the early days of a princess and a new palace. Fear not, there are always fun places to be found, and adventures to be had if you look hard enough – and nobody looks harder or better than a feline.
Here's to many more shelves, closets, cupboards, pantries, chest of draws and those funny little hidey holes that lead to new realms....

  7. If that were me, I'd be looking underneath all the furniture for my missing squeaky toys. Squeaky toys can be so sneaky.

What do they expect a cat to do all day long? Sheesh!!
