Visting with MS MARG, Marg's Animals

Did you ever wonder if there was a "big cat in the sky over South Carolina?".  A very special cat who watched over the kittens young and on their own, who watched over the old ones tired and weary, who watches over them all, lost, hungry and fighting each day just to survive.  All the ones unwanted and unloved.  Well, we believe there is a "special big cat" up there and he turns on a magical little cat-GPS in all those kitty tails that directs them each to a forever home with Marg.  The home where they find food and shelter and loving hands that caress them.  Hands that give care and heal their wounds, and a voice that speaks kind words.

Yes, that's our Ms Marg, we don't hear from her much anymore ~ but she is there, caring each and every day for so many, young and old and in between.  And loving them all just as she has done for so many years and will keep doing every day to come.  Recently as we talked on the phone one morning, I asked for a photo and a "kitty update" ... all of the "twenty-five". Some indoor and some outdoor, all are doing well. It's a lot of work, all day long to tend to this large family and all their needs, but it gets done.  Food bowls and water bowls, filled and emptied and cleaned and litter boxes by the dozen!  Toys and climbers and scratchers and trees in every corner possible ... the random scuffle for territory, the endless (and wonderful) lap time required by all!  Night comes ~ is there room on the bed for Marg?  She thinks she can squeeze into a spot, here or there!

It is a good life, a wonderful life at Marg's Animals. If you'd like to send her a "Hi and Hello" ... please leave a comment for her here today.  She'll be stopping in to read them and would love to hear from you!  She is missing many of you as you've been missing her ... thank you!

And now, a peek at two ~ Salt and Pepper.

As always, Marg takes beautiful photos, and here are Salt and Pepper, two little sisters, now about 2-years old who arrived lost and forlorn on a cold winters day and found their forever home with Marg.

Below, a montage of Marg's photos of Salt and Pepper as they grew from
little kits into the lovely lady cats they are today.

And just for fun, because here at Zoolatry we love being part of Caturday Art,
Salt and Pepper in Marg's Kitchen, "art-fied" for the day!

WE LOVE YOU, MARG!  And THANK YOU for all you do for the kitties in need!

  10. We have missed Marg, (though she sometimes appears magically on FB) and I wonder how she and all the kitties are doing. It was so wonderful you did a montage of 2 cats I've not met! We send her wonderfulness and happiness and healthiness and LOVE and strength! It is funny, when we think about her, it seems Angel Nellie finds a way and we get a message - usually within a day - and we find out she is well! We wish her a marvellously Happy Day!!
Thank YOU Ann! We love you too!

  12. I miss Marg and her kitties so much. I pray for her and them daily. 25 is a lot to care for. The most I have had is 15 and that was tough, especially when they get older and need meds and more vet care. XO

  13. Thanks to everyone for all the kind comments. He cats do keep me busy especially with the added kittens and their Mom who moved in. One of the kittens, Buddy, especially, since he has soooo much personality. He has two black sisters and they all have such a good time playing all day long.
Thanks again everyone and especially Ann who so kind to do this.
