A TALE OF TWO CHAIRS

It goes without saying that both of these chairs are my chairs.  Of course, you are well aware the polka dot one is mine alone and the other has my polka dot Ellen-blankie which also makes it mine!  Most evenings, mine Mommy and I will relax in these to watch a movie, she prefers the former as it has a foot rest.  In truth, I prefer it as well, to rest my weary head on the chairs arm ...

~  now we might also call this A Tale of Trading Places ~

So, there we were, she watching Ozark, me watching what I thought was a bug on the ceiling [not] when I saw her hit pause on the remote.  Aha, I knew what that meant.  Up she got, to the kitchen for a snack.  Opportunity strikes.  Before you could say cat-tail I took that opportunity with a quick jump to the other chair.

As said, what's mine is mine, but take note that what's she thinks is hers is really mine.

  2. Of course they are both yours, June. Your mom must just make do with the one you don't want.

  4. Well, we all know how that stuff goes with felines and comfy chairs in the same space now, don't we? That game goes on here all the time. At least mom and dad laugh when it happens. One of them will get up for something and, if I'm in the other chair, I'll get up and go to the one they were sitting in. This is an almost daily occurrence here, June. And as the last line of your post says- What's mine is mine, which pretty much covers everything under the roof. Have a splendid weekend, ladies.

  6. We all know that you own everything in your home. It's how cats operate. When you're as cute as you are then we let you think whatever you want.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

every evening even in hot hot weather so she can stretch out on my legs during "movie time".

  21. In Dutch we have a saying that means...if you stand up, you will lose your place...LOL! You follow that rule well, June!

Benji is good at distracting Dalton out of bed so he can get into it...so then Dalton goes and lies in Benji's bed, LOL!

  23. I agree with you. Pop and I play the musical chairs game every day. I grab the chair with the Spitty mat. Then when I think Pop has warmed up the chair with the Ernie mat, I either pat him on the arm gently with my paw or I bite his arm.
