AWWW/OWWW MONDAY

AWWW Monday turned into OWWW Monday.
A gotcha.  The cat gotcha-ed the humom.
The cat all comfy like atop her chair.
The humom half-sat-half-kneeled on the floor below.
The humom thought she just might get some interesting/different sort-of photos!
And, awww, she quickly snapped a few when out swatted that paw of doom
arriving with crazysharplong claws fully extended
and the camera fell to the floor ...

The humom has left the building room
in search of an alcohol swipe and a large bandage.
[this one photo survived bloody monday]

  2. That is what she gets for taking liberties, June. Sorry, but after so many years of blogging I still see it from the feline point of view instead of the human one.

  4. June! Whyfor you hurt your Momma? She was just trying to take your picture. Poor Momma, I think she deserves an aPAWlogee. Cute foot by the way. The paw, not so much.

    1. Definitely! Unfortunately for various reasons, I can't get her in for nail trims as often as she should have them (at least every 5-6 weeks) and am unable to do so myself ... so wish it was different, am always covered with Bandaids!

  10. Ann it is impossible to give a cat a mani-pedi alone. Our first cat was pretty laid back did not mind being held.
Diva Madi did not like to be HELD. Bryan had to hold her like a baby and I had to move like greased lightning to get it done in under a minute...cause that was her limit
Thank you for your kind comments today. Your friendship is a treasure and I have the Diva to thank for that.
    Hugs cecilia

  11. Murder mitts is what I call them and I so remember all the scratches and Band-Aids.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

  12. Chester's kitty cat angel cousin Maddie cat (aka Medusa) was a scratcher sometimes. Getting her into a crate was fraught with peril.

  14. Aww, June...its not that nice to whap/swat/scratch the hand(s) that feed you and bring you the fun toys. You're supposed to murder the toys and the scratcher, not the humom.
Did you come and give a head bonk later to beg furgiveness??

Hope your humom will find her camera still functional and that her ouchie will heal well.

Your paw looks rather cute and all innocent, June...introoders beware!

  15. We had to giggle at Sandee's "murder mitt" reference, but it seems pawfect in this instance...

  21. We love the picture of your cute little feet, June, but you shouldn't swipe at your mom with your daggers extended.

  22. Oh, June, we hope you didn't get your mom too badly with your claw. But we have to say, no matter what happened, she got a terrific and amusing photo. Have a great week.
